“ I’ve gotten takeout from here a number of times now and it’s always been delicious, and the portions generous. The people who run it seem very nice too. ”
“ Recently ordered biryani for a party. I called up a day earlier and placed a catering order for Hyderabad dum biryani for 15 adults. I picked up the order from the restaurant the next day. The biryani was amazing. Not too spicy and it was moist and the chicken in bone pieces were cooked to perfection. My guests loved the biryani so I'm happy. ”
“ My first glimpse at the restaurant: 1) The staff were very respectful and have a very welcoming hospitality. 2) I was craving for some authentic Hyderabadi food, so I queried about their menu and they were very patient and suggested me with Hyderabadi dum biryani and Dosa. About the food: 1) It’s a hidden gem, the size of the dosa was massive with fresh made potato filling just like back home and the taste was fabulous. ”
“ One of the best and busiest tamil/ South Indian food place. I ordered biriyani here was so good but only disappointment was no boiled egg was there.( I can’t imagine a biriyani without egg) otherwise service was great. Timing was perfect too. ”
“ I am a student at Richview Collegiate and sometimes the wait for the bus can be unbearable, especially in the cold. The cooks at Hyderabadi spices don't only just make incredible food but they also are kind hearted people. They provided me a warm place to stay all while cooking with passion. ”
“ I am quite regular here but recent introduced fusion butter garlic momos simply WOW, But u guys need to improve HACCP standards because I noticed the chef was cleaning the table, taking orders and the same guy serving food it’s very UNHYGIENIC. But for food always a WOW ”
“ So flavourful and genuinely tastes like home cooking even if you are trying something you have never had before. It’s definitely a place you should work through the menu on return visits. The samosa is smaller than before and different, but still pretty good though. Right across from Islington Subway station so it’s a delicious stop on the way home from work! ”
“ So happy to finally have a restaurant offering authentic South Indian flavours in the neighbourhood! Reasonable prices, generous portions, fresh food, and friendly & helpful staff. Their biryanis are great, but you must also try their guthi vankaya eggplant! Can't go wrong with their chili chicken (pictured top), Andhra chicken curry, or any dishes with monagadi sauce (paneer is an excellent option). Just tried the egg pulusu (pictured bottom left). Never seen this dish before but will certainly consider ordering it again — very flavourful! For those who are sensitive to heat, you might want to have some raita on the side. I consider myself to have a medium spice tolerance and so far everything I've ordered has been prepared with the perfect amount of heat for me. Love this place and hope to keep coming back! Definitely recommend. ”
